Originally just a small fishing community on the outskirts of Torremolinos, over the years La Carihuela has managed to retain all of it’s old Andalusian flavour and charm, despite it’s popularity. Beautiful beaches, dotted with clusters of palm trees and inviting wooden beach bars, run parallel to the sea-front promenade where you will find loads of delicious sea-food restaurants – which are, naturally, the speciality of the area. Ceramic shops, boutiques, and lots of other stalls and little shops contribute to making the walk along the front both a beautiful and entertaining spectacle. Palm Beach is just 70 meters from the beach.
Ideal base to see Andalucia
Yet another advantage of the area is it’s proximity to a
wealth of beautiful, historical towns and cities that really should not go
unvisited: Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba, Ronda, Gibraltar, – even Morocco (bus
+ ferry) – are all an average of just a two-hour bus ride from our location
and guided trips to all these places (plus many more) can be booked through
Reception with pick-up at the Hotel, for your greater convenience. Palm Beach is conveniently situated in a quiet little
village street with a local bus-stop right outside to take residents to the
Market and Torremolinos centre and close to the main bus routes to
Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas and Málaga.
Only a few minutes promenade brings you into the Internationally renouwned
Marina, which is full of sailing boats, big speed boats & fishing trip boats.
There are many excursions you can arrange from here. Here can also be found
a multitude of restaurants offering food from the four corners of the globe.
There are also late night discos for those who want to dance till dawn &
music bars to lounge in & watch the world go by. 
All types of watersports
Definitely the ideal spot for swimming and lounging around in the sun, La Carihuela and it’s immediate vicinity also offers an extensive variety of outdoor activities for the more energetic, just down on the beach you already have all kind of water sports: parachuting, water-skiing, pedaloes, deep-sea diving, a ride on the “banana”, etc… and there are also tennis-courts (with coach available) and an extremely well equipped gym next door, apart from rambling, rent-a-bike, an Aquapark, horse riding, boat rides, bowling and hill walks close by.
