Directions by air:
The nearest airport is Pablo Picasso, in Málaga, which is under reconstruction and is a disaster zone- expected to last until 2009.There is no bus or train service that takes you right to Palm Beach, so the best option is to take a taxi... there are always plenty of them just outside Arrivals. Expect the fare to be no more than 20 euros. If you tell the taxi driver to take you to “Edificio Palm Beach, La Carihuela, Torremolinos”, that should suffice, however, just in case you get a new driver who doesn’t yet know his way around, we are adding a Taxi Voucher at the end of this page. Just print the page, cut out the Voucher and hand it to your driver – it explains in Spanish how to get to the Resort. By car: If you are coming by car, odds are that you will be arriving to the Coast from behind Málaga. This city is well signposted, so always follow the highway and the signs to Cádiz which will guide you along the Málaga bypass. Once out of Málaga, continue on the bypass until you see a turning indicating Torremolinos. Take this turning and it will take you over a bridge over the bypass towards the centre of town. Follow the road and you will come to a bridge over the road that reads TORRREMOLINOS. Once you have passed under this bridge, the road bends to the left and you come to a roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and continue on down the road, heading due South until you get to the main road through town at the end of the road (traffic lights) . Turn right at the traffic lights, pass another roundabout shortly after (with a fountain in the center). Go straight ahead, keeping to the right side of the road, and you will come to a double set of traffic lights, one to turn left and the other to go straight on. Continue straight ahead and, once you have passed this set of traffic lights, get into the left lane of traffic. You will be going downhill and, at the bottom of the hill there is another set of traffic lights, again to turn left or go ahead, but this time you are turning left. As you turn, you will see the Hotel “Las Palomas DOA” on the left hand corner. Drive down the hill and, at the bottom you will find that you can turn left or right and that there is a barrier straight ahead. Turn right and follow the road. At about 200 metres, you will see a 9-storey building, painted in beige and brown, with a small supermarket and a cafeteria underneath. This is Palm Beach. ¡Muchas gracias! |
