Excursions can be booked through reception to Granada– for a trip around the magnificent Alhambra Palace, Seville-with its marvellous cathedral, Gibraltar– for the duty free!, Ronda– for the terrific bridge that joins the town, Tangiers– for the Moroccan experience-the snake charmers, belly dancers, cous cous, and to Jerez to taste the sherry. There are many other trips to fill your holiday if you don’t come to flop on the beach. Sierra Nevada Just 2 hours away has a first rate ski resort open for the winter months and, of course, we cannot fail to mention one of the greatest attractions of the Costa del Sol: the golf courses – around sixty in all - many of which are considered to be amongst the best in Europe.

For all of you who are planning to play golf whilst on
holiday at Palm Beach, we are now able to offer you pre-booked tee-off times
ready for you upon arrival. It is getting harder to get on courses,
especially during the peak season, and this service is designed to save
disappointments for golfers hauling clubs from home only to arrive and find
that the tee-off times available are the ones that no one wants, or, worse
still, that there are none at all!! Reception are always happy to reserve
tee-off times for those who would like to play a round and we also offer a
special golfing programme that includes accommodation, golf and rent-a-car.
Skiing
At Sierra Nevada we have one of the highest resorts with the
longest season in Europe at just one and a half hours drive from the resort.
We have clients who have never skied before but want to try it without
having to spend a whole holiday in the mountains and this is a perfect way
of doing just that. Check out this

Horse
riding
The Club Hípico Benalmádena organizes rides in the countryside with free transport to and from the stables. There are two one-and-a half hour treks daily, one from 10.30 a.m. to midday, and the other from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Children are welcome and all levels are accepted, even non-riders. The price is 7 euros per person and this includes the transport, hard hats, a guide, insurance, and 16% VAT.
Scuba Diving
For the non-experienced,
there is a full day excursion where you get the opportunity to learn the
basics of Scuba Diving in a pool or confined area, followed by an actual
sea-dive where you will have the opportunity to see and hand feed an
abundance of sea life. For experienced divers there are full day excursions, accompanied by an
experienced guide, with the choice of any 2 dives from a range of superb
locations, all of which have been selected to portray the best of diving in
the Med. All excursions include hotel pick-up, boat, full equipment &
professional guide. NIGHT DIVES & PADI COURSES ON REQUEST.
Sailing
Sailboat trips can be arranged daily for trips out into the Mediterranean. If you want to enjoy the sea, go in search of the dolphins, get to know traditional sailing & navigation then sail in the privileged ambience that usually only a few can enjoy. If you want to you can become part of the ships crew and help to handle and manoeuvre the boat and hoist the sails. More advanced sailing courses can be booked through us.
